I’m a senior in High School and I’ll be graduating in June. My prom is in June as well. My mom said we should start looking for a dress now ,a lot of girls will be shopping for their dress in the Spring. What should I do? Also should I get a custom made dress or buy one from the stores?

Its our freshman prom and my friend doesnt have a dress. She needs it cheap (under 0). Her style is kind of a emo/retro/preppy look. Her mom will make her one we just need some ideas. HELP?!
